The Shift

Your equanimity is genuine. And it's also doing double duty as a shelter. The heart learned to transmute pain into coherence, and it's good at that. But somewhere along the way, desire got filed under "things that cause pain," and the same system that healed you started protecting you from wanting anything at all. The very capacity that brought you to peace is now keeping you from aliveness.

The next step isn't more healing. It's letting what you've healed actually move. The fire comes back through one honest act of wanting. You don't need to want everything. You need to want one thing, and let yourself stay with it long enough for heat to build. Fire responds to sincerity, not scale.
